For those coming out-of-town, below are some recommendations for where to stay, eat and visit while you're here.
Galt
The wedding venue is located in the charming and historic Galt neighbourhood. Galt was established in 1816 by William Dickson, a lawyer and merchant. He hired Absalom Shade, a Pennsylvanian carpenter, to build the townsite and mill. The Grand River provided abundant waterpower and during the 19th century Galt was a significant manufacturing centre.
